R. P. McMurphy, aka Beamer, is a  seven-year-old 16.1-hand chestnut  Thoroughbred x Quarter Horse gelding. He's currently in training for dressage with Cassi Martin, and hopefully we will be making our debut on the WMDEA show scene next summer! He also enjoys trail riding, cuddling, and carrot-flavored treats. But not peppermint!! Curious George, aka George, is a 16.3-hand dark bay Thoroughbred gelding. As a three- and four-year-old, he raced at Penn National under the name Sunshine Eric, winning five races. I bought him at age four. He is now eight, and is somewhat retired due to unsoundness. He still likes to go for trail rides on nice days. Brooke, Danni, Dee, and Picabo are our four little boarders. They are yearlings and two-year-olds who belong to the Martins.
